Engineering Technician/Inspector

Our firm is seeking a full-time, highly motivated technical person with excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, to join our team of design professionals as a Civil Engineering Technician/Inspector. Our firm is a licensed professional Civil and Environmental Engineering firm in the State of Connecticut whose primary business focus is directed towards providing quality technical services to municipal clients, as well as Federal and State Agencies.

  • Experience in civil, bridge or roadway construction inspection
  • Minimum Associates Degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology desirable
  • NICET 2 certification or PE required
  • AutoCAD Civil 3D experience desirable
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Skilled in oral and written communications, organization, and interpersonal relations
  • Ability to work under the supervision of others
  • Able to perform thorough, neat, and accurate basic engineering computations
  • Read and interpret plans and specifications
  • Ability to safely negotiate project sites in variable weather conditions
  • Energetic, professional attitude, and excellent work ethic
