Our firm is seeking a highly motivated technical person with excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, to join our team of design professionals for a Construction Chief Inspector position starting with the 2022 construction season. We are a licensed professional Civil and Environmental Engineering firm in the State of Connecticut whose primary business focus is directed towards providing quality technical services to municipal and institutional clients, as well as Federal and State Agencies.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil, bridge and roadway construction inspection
• Minimum Associates Degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology desirable
• NICET 3 certification required or PE required
• Experience with CTDOT four book volume system of documentation
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Skilled in oral and written communications, organization, and interpersonal relations
• Ability to work under the supervision of others
• Able to perform thorough, neat and accurate basic engineering computations
• Read and interpret plans and specifications
• Ability to safely negotiate project sites in variable weather conditions
• Energetic, professional attitude, and excellent work ethic
