Nathan L. Jacobson & Associates, Inc. is located within a quintessential New England village in the heart of the scenic lower Connecticut River Valley. With direct access from Route 9 and other State Roads, we are an easy commute from anywhere in the surrounding region, with plentiful on-site parking. Our office building is a completely renovated circa 1900 structure which has been expanded in the traditional New England architectural style of the village. In keeping with our surroundings, we enjoy a casual working environment.

We offer a SIMPLE IRA retirement program with matching company contributions. Vacation/Personal time varies from 2 to 3 weeks per year depending on length of service, with one week paid sick leave. SENIOR CIVIL ENGINEER
Our firm is seeking highly motivated technical personnel with excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, to join our team of design professionals for a full-time Senior Civil Engineer position. Our firm’s focus is directed towards providing quality technical services to municipal clients, as well as Federal and State Agencies. Responsibilities include: design; analysis; report writing; presentations; permitting; cost estimating, and; coordination of project team members. Qualifications include: minimum BS degree in Civil Engineering; 5-10 years experience in general municipal engineering and infrastructure improvement projects; PE license; AutoCAD Civil 3D experience; ability to work under the supervision of others or independently; and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience with municipal site, water, sewer and drainage infrastructure improvement projects preferred. Salary commensurate with experience. STAFF CIVIL ENGINEER
Our firm is seeking highly motivated technical personnel with excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, to join our team of design professionals for a full-time Staff Civil Engineer position. Our firm’s focus is directed towards providing quality technical services to municipal clients, as well as Federal and State Agencies. Responsibilities include: design; analysis; report writing; presentations; permitting; cost estimating, and; coordination of project team members. Qualifications include: minimum BS degree in Civil Engineering; 3-5 years experience in general municipal engineering and infrastructure improvement projects; EIT; AutoCAD Civil 3D experience; ability to work under the supervision of others or independently; and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
