Nathan L. Jacobson & Associates

Consulting Civil and Environmental Engineers Since 1972

About Nathan L. Jacobson & Associates

Nathan L. Jacobson founded the firm in 1972 with a single goal in mind - to provide a range of top-notch civil engineering services. Prior to forming the firm, Nate was an Associate of a large consulting firm where he experienced first-hand the frustrations of spending more and more of his time on administrative and management aspects of the consulting business rather than utilizing his considerable experience on the technical aspects of client projects. Nathan L. Jacobson & Associates corporate philosophy is a direct result of Nate's frustration and to this day we adhere to his original philosophy of developing a highly competent firm of between twenty and twenty-five persons that has the flexibility of tackling both large and small projects; where the experience of the principals is applied to solving technical rather than administrative problems; that is not encumbered with excessive unproductive administrative staff and overhead; and that is flexible so as to provide personalized service to its clients.

In addition to providing a principal of the firm with direct project responsibility to each of our clients, to further enhance our problem solving abilities, regularly scheduled principal meetings are held where the sole purpose is for each principal to provide a brief synopsis of current projects and to identify project related issues so that the collective experience of all the principals can be shared.
